I wasn't what anyone would call a natural artist, but I worked hard at acquiring skills and I became a decent sketch artist and a competent acrylic painter before getting distracted by fiber arts and collage. Photography, I picked up late and not seriously until well after I bought my first Apple computer in the mid-1980s and discovered I could use digital tools to create art. By the 1990s, I was using cameras, scanners, and printers to make images layer by layer, combining drawing, photography, painting, printing, collage, and image transfer techniques. Because I'm easily distracted and changeable as the wind, I never developed a consistent style. After all my bouncing around, these are the pieces that have pleased me the most over the years.
